John is Chief Executive Officer for McKenney’s, Inc., a third-generation, 1,800-employee mechanical construction company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. John is a Board member of Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc.; Board member of Georgia Tech Athletic Association, Alexander-Tharpe Fund; Trustee for the Atlanta Plumbers and Steamfitters Health and Welfare Fund; Trustee for the Mechanical Industries Council (MIC); Board member of the Sandy Springs Arts Foundation; past Board member of Bobby Dodd Institute, Inc.; past President and Director of the Mechanical Contractors’ Association of Georgia (MCAG); past Advisory Board member of The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISyE); past Board member of Atlanta Area Council Boy Scouts of America and recognized as Distinguished Engineering Alumni by Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering. John is a member of the Atlanta Rotary Club, Southern 7 Gold Chapter of YPO and is a 2014 Graduate of Leadership Atlanta. He is a member of Peachtree Church and is an Eagle Scout. John received his Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering degree at Georgia Tech.
